What to expect at your inspection
Here's how to prepare for your mold assessment appointment:
- Ensure access to all areas of concern, including attic, crawlspace, and HVAC if applicable
- Do not clean or disturb any visible mold growth before the inspection
- Note any recent water damage, leaks, or flooding history
- Have your HVAC system running for at least 1 hour before we arrive
- Keep windows and exterior doors closed for at least 4 hours prior
What's included in your report
After lab results are returned (typically 24–48 hours), you'll receive:
- Written assessment report with findings
- Lab analysis results for all samples taken
- Recommendations based on findings
- Documentation suitable for insurance, legal, or contractor use
